ASK, ASK, ASK!
You never know who will support your efforts unless you ask! Share why you climb and your donation link in emails and on social media. Email templates are provided in your Participant Center.
SAY THANK YOU
Thank your donors within the first 48 hours of their donation. Additionally, thanking them publicly will help encourage others to support you as well. Social media is a great place for that!
SOCIAL MEDIA IS YOUR FRIEND
Share your fundraising page on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emails. People may support you through these asks that you might not have thought to ask at first!
SET YOUR GOALS BIG
People like to give when you have a goal set! Adding how close you are to your goal (50%, 75%, 90%) helps influence others to support you in reaching your goal!
FOLLOW UP
It is okay to follow up with the people you have asked. People are busy and sometimes need a reminder!
WEAR YOUR GEAR
Have Big Climb Swag? Wear it! This is a great way to get others to learn about Big Climb and start the conversation about supporting you.
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT
Matching gifts are a great and easy way to double your efforts to cure blood cancer! Make sure you and your donors check with your companies to see if they'll match your donation!
SPECIAL EVENTS
Donate your birthday, anniversary, or holiday gifts to Big Climb! Asking people to give an amount for these special events is a great way to grow your impact!
