In March 2025, I will be joining 2,000 firefighters in a race to the top 69th floor of the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. Firefighters will be racing in turnouts, helmet, SCBA pack and must be on air for the entire ascent. My training during the months preceding will include many steep hikes and on-air workouts to practice negative pressure breathing. Returning for my second year I'm hoping to meet my goal of sub 30 minutes and will be focusing more on hypoxic training and on air workouts. 

This stair climb is held to raise awareness and funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
