Incentives

Early Bird

Participants who raise $1,800+ become eligible for Early Bird Registration in the following year's event. Early Birds are allowed to register before all other participants in this consistently sold-out event. Early Birds are given five days to register about a week before General Registration opens to the public. Qualifiers will receive an email in September 2024 with details on how to register.

 

VIP Fundraisers

Participants who raise $2,800+ by event day receive a series of event day perks that includes: access to the VIP Area with catered food, personal bag check (unavailable elsewhere in the event), and a commemorative gift. Those who reach VIP by the VIP deadline of 4.12.2024 will receive an invitation to the Climbs Awards Ceremony on 5.19.2024.

Elite 30

The top 30 individual fundraisers as of 3.6.2024 will become members of this exclusive group. The Elite 30 will each receive a series of perks that include: a special gift, an invite to a tour of a LLS-funded research lab (to be held in Summer/Fall 2024), the battalion start time of their choice, and access to the Columbia Center the day before the Climb to reserve their team's space for event day.

Top 3 Fundraising Individuals

  1. Two coach, round trip tickets on Alaska Airlines and up to a four night hotel stay at a Marriott destination of your choice. Dates and locations determined upon hotel availability and participant choice. Does not include 2nd or 3rd place prize.

*Early Bird slots are in addition to those team members who already raised $1,800+ for the 2024 Climb. Number of slots will be based on fundraising efforts of the entire team. Early Bird slots are only good for the 2024 LLS Firefighter Stairclimb.

Incentive Store

On behalf of patients, survivors, caregivers, and family and friends affected by blood cancers, we thank you for raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

After a season of hard work in training, fundraising, and raising awareness of LLS, we want to thank our participants for their dedication. Every LLS Firefighter Stairclimb participant who raises $500+ by the final fundraising deadline will be invited via email to make a selection from our 2024 Incentive Store. Every dollar raised helps move us closer to a future in which we have won our battle against blood cancers.

Fundraising Promotions

Throughout the fundraising season, all LLS Firefighter Stairclimb participants are eligible to win a series of fundraising promotions ranging from free Alaska Airline tickets to the bib number of your choice. All promotions will be announced via email to registered participants.

Event Awards

All LLS Firefighter Stairclimb awards are presented to winning individuals and teams at the Climbs Awards Ceremony held in Seattle, WA at the Columbia Tower Club.

Must be an award recipient and/or VIP fundraiser ($2,800+) to receive an invitation + one guest.
