Let's Do This!
Over the last few years I have lost 3 people to cancer, and know many, many people who are currently fighting it or have it affecting their life in one way or another. This year I am participating in the Seattle Stairclimb with some of my co-workers to raise money for the LLS for the research and treatment of leukemia and lymphoma, and I need your support! I hardly ever post, let alone ask for financial support (especially in this economy), but I hope that’s a testament to just how important this is to me.
I will be completing the climb on March 10th in full gear (approximately 60lbs) and breathing with a mask and SCBA bottle alongside other firefighters across the nation. It’s an amazing event that I have supported, but never participated in and I am excited to be able to confribute in a different way this year. My goal is to raise $2000 dollars before the event, and I would love any support.
