A native Washingtonian, Shauna has been volunteering ever since she can remember. It comes as no surprise that her passion for giving back has turned into a career with years of non-profit fundraising experience under her belt. No stranger to flexibility and unique experiences, Shauna lived and traveled the country in a tour bus while previously supporting various national campaigns. In addition to fundraising events, Shauna earned her M.A. in Communication from the University of Oregon and worked as a college instructor. Lastly, as a former college and semi-professional athlete, Shauna knows the benefits of hard work, persistence, and dedication. She joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Summer 2017 and is grateful to put her passion and dedication towards finding a cure.
Jacquelyn was born and raised in Chicago, Il and eventually made her way down to Austin, TX for university. Jax has a degree in Psychology and Athletic Coaching. Originally a Physical Education teacher and athletics coach, she decided to make the switch to fighting cancer in 2019 after her own battle. Jax came to LLS in February of 2021 inspired by her late mother-in-law who battled CML for over 20 years.
Half New Yorker and Half Seattleite, Addie comes to LLS most recently from Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC, where she developed a highly personalized approach to fundraising. She also holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University in Nonprofit Management. Addie's mission is to save the world, one funded cure at a time, and this stems from her personal journey with disease. At the age of six, Addie was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata, an autoimmune disease that rendered her bald. While she lives her life as a proud bald woman, her experience with Alopecia reminds her that there are others with life inhibitors that are far beyond her own experience. Addie is passionate about fundraising and looks forward to inspiring others in the LLS mission.
