On March 8, 2020, over 2,000 firefighters from across the United States and around the world were planning to ascend the Columbia Center in Seattle, WA to support the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. But the world is suddenly a very different place, and to help flatten the curve and stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, our LLS climb events across the nation cannot happen as planned.

That’s why we are excited to announce we’ll be joining forces across LLS to participate in the Big Virtual Climb! On June 13, across the country, we will all virtually climb the iconic Salesforce Tower as one. 61 stories. 1,762 steps. Together we will continue to Climb. Conquer. Cure!

As firefighters race to the virtual top of Salesforce Tower, they’ll keep in mind that every step forward is representative of moving toward finding a cure for all those battling this terrible disease. In 2019, this group of phenomenal climbers brought in a record $2.9 million for blood cancer research and patient services. Now in its 29th year, this event has raised over $20 million for LLS.
