La Dawn's Big Climb 2021

Climb. Conquer. Cure.
May 15, 2021
I am honored to join the amazing T-Mobile team once again this year in our continued efforts to Climb. Conquer. Cure.
As we do so we will CELEBRATE and REMEMBER all that have been touched by this cancer, many of whom I hold dear in my heart!
On May 15th, 2021, I will be virtually “climbing” Seattle’s Columbia Center by climbing 1,311 steps from where I am.
I ask you to support my virtual climb with a donation to LLS today.
What is the Big Climb?
In typical years, the Big Climb is a stairclimb race up the Columbia Center - the tallest skyscraper in downtown Seattle. There are 69 floors of stairs, 1,311 steps, and 788 feet of vertical elevation. Although it is challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds from this event benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
For 33 years we were honored to host this event at the iconic Columbia Center but in 2020 and again in 2021, we will be virtually climbing from our neighborhoods. We are still so honored at the chance to be a part of this event and to climb with our Big Climb family across the nation on May 15th, 2021.
Who is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Every day, more than 347 LLS sponsored researchers come closer to the goal of finding a cure for leukemia and related blood cancers. Locally, LLS funds 10 researchers at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and University of Washington Medical Center. Your support and commitment to the mission of LLS enables us to continue this important work of saving lives and aids us in our ability to reach patients in our community.
Thank you for your time and I hope that you will consider donating to this cause!
