Welcome to Terry's Page
Chances are that someone you know has heard a blood cancer diagnosis. Even if you aren't trained as a medical professional or a researcher, you can still help in finding treatments and cures. I do that by donating to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and by climbing the Columbia Tower each year. You can help too! Your support and donation will make a difference.
Although the March 22nd Big Climb has been changed to a virtual event in June due to concerns about the coronavirus, I am moving forward with my fundraising efforts, as the fight against blood cancer is not over. This will be year 14 for me!
Over the past 13 years I have raised over $81,000 for LLS by climbing. With your donation, that number is soaring to over $100,000 this year. I'm committed to continue the training it takes to reach the top...what I need now is your support. To donate just click the orange 'donate now' button! Our efforts will help make a big difference in the fight against blood cancers.
Blood cancer changes lives...I know that first hand. Hodgkin's disease took the life of my biological father, Harvey Theodore Greene, when I was 4 years old. Since then other family members and close friends have been affected by blood diseases. Together we can make a positive difference in the lives of others.

What is the Big Climb?
The Big Climb is a stairclimb up the Columbia Center - the tallest skyscraper in downtown Seattle. There are 69 floors of stairs, 1311 steps, and 788 feet of vertical elevation. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Who is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Every day, more than 347 LLS sponsored researchers come closer to the goal of finding a cure for leukemia and related blood cancers. Locally, LLS funds 10 researchers at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and University of Washington Medical Center. Your support and commitment to the mission of LLS enables us to continue this important work of saving lives and aids us in our ability to reach patients in our community.
Thank you for your time and I hope that you will consider donating to this cause!
