Jazmin is Climbing Again in 2024!

In January 2023 and March 2023 I had to witness my loved ones say goodbye to two amazing women. Amanda (a mother of 6, grandmother to 8+) and Melissa (fiancé, sister, daughter and aunt). Their absence is noticed and I would love nothing more than to ensure that we do everything we can to minimize the amount of goodbyes we say due to Leukemia & Lymphoma.
The Big Climb this year will be taking place on March 24th, 2024 (one day before my 34th birthday).
I am super excited to be doing this climb alongside my team (The Young and the Breathless). I have been climbing solo since 2016, and last year I finally had 2 teammates which was exciting. This year my team has 15 members and I couldn't be more thrilled!!
Thank you for taking the time to support me and my team this year. Every donation makes a big difference to those battling blood cancers. Our original team goal was to raise $3,300 (a nod to my 33rd birthday last year). We have already met that goal and will be aiming to raise even more! My personal goal is currently set to $500 raised, so I would greatly appreciate your help to reach both goals!
What is the Big Climb?
The Big Climb is a stairclimb up the Columbia Center - the tallest skyscraper in downtown Seattle. There are 69 floors of stairs, 1311 steps, and 788 feet of vertical elevation. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Who is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Every day, more than 347 LLS sponsored researchers come closer to the goal of finding a cure for leukemia and related blood cancers. Locally, LLS funds 10 researchers at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and University of Washington Medical Center. Your support and commitment to the mission of LLS enables us to continue this important work of saving lives and aids us in our ability to reach patients in our community.
Thank you for your time and I hope that you will consider donating to this cause!
