As I look at the picture of Sadie & I to the right I reflect on a year that completely changed my life! In this picture, Sadie (our Golden) and I both had Lymphoma. Her - the canine type. Me - Stage 3B Hodgkins Lympoma.
When Sadie was diagnosed with Lymphoma (2 months after my diagnosis) I realized I needed to do something to give back. That is how I got involved in The Big Climb and volunteer work for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Having cancer changed my life!! The small things do not matter but big things do - like finding a cure for cancer!!!
Sadie passed on 5/23/2011 - this was 3 days after my last chemo treatment. She stayed with me to the end - RIP Sadie. Once we find a cure for cancer our friendly canine companions and other pets will have the cure.
Now I ask I small favor from you - please donate today!! Just hit the "donate" button to the right. If you don't know what the Big Climb is just look for the tallest building in Seattle - The Columbia Tower! I will be climbing the Columbia Tower all for great cause - 1,311 steps - 69 flights of stairs for LLS!!
Thank you for your time and I hope that you will consider donating to this cause!
