We Did It!!!

On an overcast Sunday in Seattle (3/7/10), over 1500 Firefighters and I crammed into the Columbia Center and climbed 69 floors. We were dressed in full protective ensemble while breathing compressed air.

With your support we have raised over $2600 this year to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! It is anticipated that this one event alone will bring in close to $750,000 for L&LS. This year's fundraising ends on March 31st.

I couldn"t have done it without all of your support. I also want to thank my Mom, Rick, and Chrissy (my professional bottle-changer!) for making the whirlwind 4 day trip to the west coast as well as my Uncle Doug and Aunt Von Dell whom live in Seattle and joined in the festivities.

This year I finished "The Climb" with a time of 25:59. Compared to the previous years 27:34 and 34:46 respectively. But it"s all about the fundraising for this great cause. Each year I keep saying it"s going to be my last but I'm considering a Favre type move and come back in 2011 for the 20th anniversary climb!
