Climb. Conquer. Cure.
Hello! I will be participating in the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb on Sunday, March 11th in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Please support me with a donation by clicking the donate button. Our efforts will help make a big difference in the fight against blood cancers. Thank you for your generosity!
As most of you know, this event and LLS have a very personal significance to me. I was diagnossed with Mantel Cell Lymphoma in 2015 just a couple weeks after completing the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb that year. Several rounds of chemo and a stem cell transplant later I am still in remission! Thanks to you I have raised $24,000 for this worthy cause since I started participating in 2013!
What is the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb?
The Scott Firefighter Stairclimb is the world's largest on-air stair climb competition at the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. We compete in full combat gear weighing close to 50 pounds. There are 69 flights of stairs, 1,356 steps, and 788 ft. of vertical elevation gain. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients must go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Thank you for your time and I hope that you will consider donating to this cause! Remember, every dollar counts!
