TEAM INFORMATION

Interested in forming a team eh?  Here are the basics:

• You can form a friends and family team, school team, corporate team, or any combination thereof.
• Teams must have a minimum of 4 people and can have any gender combination.  The top 3 finish times will be combined to come up with your team finish time.
• Teams can consist of a mix of racers and climbers.  Racers and climbers have different starting lines because they are climbing different stairwells.  However, everyone will start at the same time and everyone will finish in the same area.

The benefits of creating a team are:

• Regardless of when your teammates sign up, everyone will get the same start time.  HOWEVER, please note that last minute teammates may be given a different start time due to scheduling conflicts.
• Team start times are basically assigned based on past fundraising performance, past involvement, attendance at one of our information sessions, and date team was created.  The race director has discretion in determining team start times.
• Teams are eligible to win race team trophies in the following categories:
  Fastest School - elementary, middle school, high school
  Fastest Corporate Team
  Fastest Overall Team
• Teams are eligible to win fundraising team trophies in the following categories:
  Top Overall Fundraising Team
  Top Team Per Capita - dollars raised / number of teammates
  Newest Top Fundraising Team
• Team captains are automatically entered in a drawing to win great prizes such as watches, gift certificates, and more!
• A team fundraising page is automatically created which you can customize with your team photo, company or school logo, photo of someone you are honoring or remembering, and so forth.  Individual pages will be automatically linked to the team page.
