24th Annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb
Sunday, March 8, 2015

Hello Firefighters!

In just about 3 months you will be hitting the stairs and making your way up the 69 flights of the Columbia Tower. For now though, we hope you are enjoying the holiday season and all that comes with it. You have a lot to be proud of this holiday season! As of today, you have raised over $320,000 in the fight against blood cancers! We are deeply thankful for your support and continued commitment to helping us find a cure in the fight against blood cancers. Don't forget! The holidays are the perfect time to share with your family, friends and loved ones why you fundraise for the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb.

Climb to $10 million

This year 1,900 firefighters from 338 departments, and thousands of donors will help the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb cross the $10 million dollar mark. $10 million dollars has and will continue to save lives, since LLS first started investing in research 65 years ago, cures for many patients with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) and Hodgkin lymphoma have been achieved and survival rates for many other blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled and even quadrupled.

Don't forget to share your “$10 million dollar message” with us by posting to our Facebook with the hashtag #10millmessage or via email at firefighterstairclimb@lls.org. You can share videos, photos and short messages about why you've chosen to participate and fundraise for this event and we'll feature the messages leading up to the climb and on event day!
